In the dark
of endless time
it comes to light
that all she needed
all she'd known
was on her own
the only light
was hers to hold
and from her heart
she let it go

this reminded me of the jessie colin young song, Light Shine......he never got much attention with his "career", but a very good artist from back in the day....simplicity at it's finest ( your poem )
