Esperanzadamente: hopefully—
a word that’s full of hope should sound as much,
should leave the mind with mysteries of what
exactly hope might mean, should flood a stream
of possibilities. I need to hope—
and if it’s not a need, it ought to be.
I pray for hope, to whom I hope will hear
when – hopelessly – it’s not exactly clear
I trust the one to whom I’m praying.
Redefine my words— kaleidoscope
my vision of tomorrow— help me dream
of colors no one’s seen before me, but
please do it in a way that keeps my clutch
on hope— and make it sound like life for me.

yes we must remain hopeful of so much.....for our kids and gran kids sake if nothing else......hope is a motivator for many where hopelessness is prevalent.....
the mystery of what's around the corner, sent man on an eternal quest to turn over each rock, see what swims away......seeing god is hope for some, for some hope can't get beyond a cool drink of water.......practice empathy, a good row to hoe, a good road to hope.......
