Leaving me again?
short sojourns
or long
residence
Welcome back!

A place for them
depositing their
memories
baggage
throwing it,
Just so!

I am the guardian
thoughts
vocals
bounce on walls
echo in corridors
tap on doors
Come in!

The kitchen is the hub
heart
to heart talks
quarrels, debates
the core is here
the meals gourmet
perfect – imperfect
spicy - bland
salty - sweet
Bon appetit!

As night falls
whispers travel
to the bedroom
keeper of secrets
voyeur of passion
Authorized Entry ONLY!

My footing is sure
wind and rain
blow and gale
June to November
I protect them
Standing firm!

I am the sanctuary
they leave
they return
nothing changes
Love Endures!

Thanks Doreen....

A friend of mine noticed something about this piece....try reading it backwards....last stanza to first or even last line to first.......LOL

great piece of work which I found so far
My aim is to put down on paper what I see and what I feel in the best and simplest way.
