plasters too small

be warned
the allure
the whores’
seduction
tempting
teasing
pulling
into the abyss
virtual pleasures
never to be missed

disillusioned
call them friend
seek their solace
to render
peace
of heart
heart-felt
honesty
craved
open eyes
see the grave

hate the harpies
fear their shrill
ringing
the death bell kills
the shriveled moniker

fantasy
wishes
no place here
dishes up
thoughts
for supper
rare
sweet
taste on the lips
of those who succor
on frail
weak minds


dream no longer
move
shift
the process
begins
expunge
erase
the weakness within

reality punches
hard
facial bones break
reconfigure
the cranial space
splinters
the mind’s place
