into the mystery

the secret of heather
spills into daylight
there are nubile spirits
roaming Elysian fields
we will rest here
amoung the tender leaves
of passion,
we will ignite the flame
within
and show each other
the light
we will die a little every day,
until the scent absorbs us.

the fresh cut grass has stories to
tell. everything is holy, everything
is flame and water
we write into poems..

I'm glad to read a lyrical, passionate, almost mystical poem today. Too often politics interrupts but a poem like yours is always welcome. It provides perspective as well as joy.

your words have the duality of flair and flare, don't ask me where that came from, much of gut feelings come as streams, no torrents of ideas...sorry for the diversion,......this has power and grace and i agree with danno ( irishsea) that politics gets a lot of ink, and I am certainly guilty, but one can't be apolitical unless they are a hermit....so perhaps balance is what is sought.....more rambling by me.....I liked this a lot.... if I am holy, it's close to ways you describe.....good stuff
