I've acquired this,
this late onset stage of disease
this condition of wanting
to do good, or at least no harm
I know, I know, weird right ?
but I gotta tell ya man
every time I do it, good that is
I feel a little healthier, so I've
become this exorcised jungle cat
that hunts opportunities
to be nice, and it's highly addictive
the nicer you are, the nicer you want to be
you can't help but want to know
where the ceiling is, the utmost high
of thoughtfulness, so naturally you wander
the earth a hedonistic do-gooder
looking for little old ladies
to help across six lanes of rush
hour traffic, you manically search
like a big floating smiley face
with arms, and legs, and an over-inflated heart
looking for your next desperate fix
the unbelievable saga of a nice guy
the unbelievable saga of a nice guy
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
you may end up where you are heading

the earth a hedonistic do-gooder
Sparkle on the Monkey Train, amigo.

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
