Hunted for Sport

Post by Atehequa » August 13th, 2011, 9:13 am

Horses, hounds, harriers and their horns
Leering local lords and their lovely ladies
Petty principalities and puppet popinjay promoters
Blood sport, sadism, civilization at it’s worse
Hearing it faintly atop this mountain ridge
I have little regard for such contest
The pack mentality of horrible humans
And their ever hungry hunting hounds
Preventive maintenance and predictable situations
Regally galloping behind the barking hounds
Free expression to be regulated or else quelled
Sly, timid, untamable, to be hunted for sport
Consequential contestants and their quarry
Fleeing over a well trimmed grassy course
But brave enough to double back and count coup
Bear, panther, wolf, fox or savage
Can your hounds scent out the difference ?
Baying as they dash into a dark wooded tangle
Growls, yelps, then all falls silently still
Dare you to retrieve your lost hounds ?
Bears, Panthers, Wolves and the Fox hunters
Atop this mountain, there’s only the sky to win
Of course it’s above the grassy game course
Are you mad for even asking ?

famelic and hairless dogs
engage in running groups
sometimes noisy sometimes so silent
in the south-west side of the city
& people hunts people
from time to time
bullets spread from fast cars
seems to be the last fashion´s shout
don´t caring too much about possible targets
efimeral bangs with maybe too much history behind
different kind of walls, the easiest solution?
ok, let´s re-build the wall & make it bigger
but hey, don´t make me do a scary-feast from it...
