on the fringe of nowhere

Post by saw » August 14th, 2011, 4:48 am

human excellence
is as devalued as
the U.S. dollar, worthless

in any marketplace
in the world we perceive
in the rare earth that seems fake

contemporary america
you techno-freak bully
you enforcer

of mob capital
that really doesn't want
to know my name,

predetermination
made by far out lieutenant
spiritkillers

your hands are no longer
handy
your ideas an affront

to soulless software
that rules
with an iron keyboard

"Sir!...Lt. Vacantstare
reporting for duty, Sir !"
on the fringe of nowhere
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Good protest poem. Great last stanza.
The Irish Sea Is Always In Turmoil, Even When Calm.

succeeding generation X... is of course, generation Y,
it's every man for himself now,
governments of this planet... a sick joke,
world economies... flat out lies.
in you face, rammed down your throat,
value is valueless, reduced to... its origin,
just a dream, from some long dead... madman,

and the human... well,
is just an illusion too.

just walt... nothing more

thanx dan and walt,........ frustration abounds as royalty tells us, enough is never enough....what an odd circumstance living on a planet where 1% of the population has more than enough money and power to destroy it......for the life of me, it's difficult to comprehend........

rise up oh slumberous mass
clog the gears of commerce
with your art and grace
derail the locomotive of greed
with your song and dance
let the echoes of your oneness
vibrate like the pitch of the pitchforked
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

What Americans have forgotten is why they left England's shores... and royalty's boots. Now under the guise of Capitalism... the new royalty, we have become serfs... without *fringe* benefits.
