the ethereal place
manic expressions

spoken in tongues
verbalized
guttural moans flow
slow
rising
crescendo

the invader heaves
comes
then leaves
spent gifts of love
potency undenied
departure ratified
the goddess momentarily mesmerized
realize
sudden emptiness
no wetness
just longing, sobbing
yearning
