kress
two worlds encounter, in the, in-between-,
but is one chance, just, one too many,
two spirits, once more, crossing paths,
but maybe, one choice is, really never any,
and heaven or hell, wouldn't know till one fell...
how one answered the other, without being asked,
neither one being driven, by the current of events,
nor lost in the illusion, of reality's, loving grasp
two worlds, touch, in the most casual of ways,
a new balancing act, with no need for, the net,
two souls converse, yet, only one is all it takes,
one thing for sure, is that not one, will forget
and heaven or hell, wouldn't know till one fell...
why one to the other could allow this to pass,
neither one given, to that which, only prevents,
nor glossed in confusion, under the looking glass
two worlds converge, caught in a stellar gaze,
with no emotional string theory, designed to apply,
two hearts, drone to a beat, out of recognition,
and out of obedience, never inspired to reply
and heaven or hell, wouldn't know till one fell...
