of newborn citizens
eyes penetrating granite
walls of discord
to see the need to celebrate
our differences in a world
of boundless uncertainty,
he spoke of men who crave
the taste of the conversation-
sweetened nectars made from
the bitter herbs of imperfect truth

thanx dadio.....you need not look very far to see what the lack of polite conversation can do here in america.....our congress is dysfunctional resorting most days to name calling, and the gridlock has 98% of the population hurting and
wondering when they will have the conversations that include the needs of the citizens instead of the pitch for the corporation........
