Rock of ages
hammer out the truth
before the last leaf falls,
make it tone on tone in tune
with Om,
and make it sound like silence.

Make me believe again that love
is the answer and there is no death
in resurrection;
let me see the black-holed sun
in your eye's awareness
and break this silence into sound,
separate the darkness from the light,
let me be reborn of spirit,
and bring to me the colour white.

Let roses grow where we once walked.
Fill the hunger of my soul with life everlasting.
