A Visionary Poem

my eyes are shattering today
like raindrops
my vision keeps running
to corners, crevices
drains
I'm viewing the tunnels
built under everything
and so I see
what holds it all up
those steel beams
that my eyes rust
I do not have words
they are too like clouds
you can't stand in them
but fall
and so the vision
is a puddle
only the sun and every other surface
thing
can withstand
the depths sink
into their element
the murky water ot tears
of happy, happy tears
an underground river
digging at
everything
like raindrops
my vision keeps running
to corners, crevices
drains
I'm viewing the tunnels
built under everything
and so I see
what holds it all up
those steel beams
that my eyes rust
I do not have words
they are too like clouds
you can't stand in them
but fall
and so the vision
is a puddle
only the sun and every other surface
thing
can withstand
the depths sink
into their element
the murky water ot tears
of happy, happy tears
an underground river
digging at
everything
