different strokes for different folks

some humans were born,
no I don't mean others were hatched
I was just trying to say some
were created to be creative
to make art while others retrace,
and artists don't look very good
in three piece suits or even
two piece suits, no they are outside
constraint, outside the lines, they
slip out of conformity like Harry Houdini
slipped a pair of handcuffs while under
water inside a box, no restrictions like that
will do, you can't convince them
of the merits of nine to five,
the heart of a dreamer is working
on something else, engaged in the art
of dreaming, dreaming for the health
of mankind, the great metaphor
never realized by academics, by
granite thinkers, by stone cold apologists
no they often fail to recognize
that dreamers are dreaming
as they were intended to do, dreaming
while others focus on their feet
along the sidewalk, but the artist never
needs to look down 'cause they instinctively
know, like any seasoned wire-walker
never look down !
