the moon, the sky and I

Post by Kailashana » January 21st, 2012, 10:22 am

The moon safety-pinned to sky,
the sky paper-clipped to clouds,
these threaded words passing by
like mannequins with no eyes,
the shapes within measuring
the golden ratio between the sun
and all things of this world and the
next to come.

But perfection is not a choice upon which you
and I can decide:
the insouciant clan of castaways
live well-hidden amoung us.
Seraphim and poets of discontent
ancient plunderers of the cat-like Sphinx,
enter on padded feet,
listening and walking
walking a baby's breath behind
as though we held secrets to die
for.

These roots are deep.

But for the shadow-boxing on the wall, I'd tell
you of my own true worth.

deep roots indeed.....a good thing to tap into ( pun intended)
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
