gonna shave today
take a bath
clean it all up
make it presentable
to the masses

gonna tone it down today
leave the tie-dye in the drawer
slide into an outfit of gray
'cause today's no day for flash
I cycled last night to mauve and olive

and it's OK, fine
it's just a non scheduled phase,
ain't no one can stop the ticky tock
of the mood ringing clock
ride it out friend

candy apple red is on the way

yeah, the "gray" sort of reset ...
unavoidable at times . . .
