the part of me that ran around opening all the doors
slamming a few shut
just waits in the hallway
in true docile submisson before all the powers that be
that surrender that makes things taste sweet
the gift of desperation
all swooning like a teenager waiting
humility arrested and stood back on your feet

whatever mad scientist in side gave orders for the rest of the troops to hide
because there was going to be some electrical impulse work done on my device
that droid iphone computer chip
rung up some star satilite and demanded payment for all favors granted
those cells just rang out into a universe of the unseen
re-arranged all phone numbers and addresses in my mind
call waiting and all
those little wavering molecules breathing all over us
intermittantly perspiring and radiating hope
those were the things that brought us running to the forest
most beautiful trees swaying in my dna
those animal instincts roar in the daylight
for the roaming potency of early liberation times

nothing like a dose of the woods to brighten your spirits, help you forget about this ridiculous world where everyone is walking and driving with wires coming out of their ears, and we couldn't imagine life without a cell phone.....leave the phone home, go for a walk.....get in touch with birds.......our own thoughts
