let's trade fantasies
you've got a nice collection
and I know you'd dig mine
so let's unhitch the wagon,
smack the horses on the ass

let 'em gallop
'cross the plain white field
riderless mustangs
nipping at each others necks,
let's lift the cage door

release the panting pollack beasts
that pack that hangs in your yard
let 'em all run 'round splattering latex
we'll wipe their doldrums with baby powder,
put on granny nightgowns

and up won't look any different than down
and polka dots will pepper our dreams
with the over-spray, and we'll shake
the branches til expectations
break loose and tumble to the ground
