The Memory of Water

Post by the mingo » May 9th, 2012, 1:29 am

The Memory of Water

For whose sake
will the face in your mirror
go without luggage
taking a chance ?

the woman walking the roadside
does not pause a beat as
she adjusts the baby
riding her hip

... the lover
looks for landmarks
talking to himself ...

Out of whose dream,
my friend, will you come singing
and never catch up?
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

alas, yeah
it's time to wake up
no use waiting for some other dreamer to do it for me

i drip here- i rain, i follow the waves- i flow with the river-
i let the quiver release=the arrow flies-
nice write- :!:  :D
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
