tearing down the lies
wallpaper of delusions
placed over the energy
of many old ideas
covering nothing

steam melts every pore
floor matts of indignities
bathroom carpets of temporary uselessness
self esteem soaking in a river of dreams
wanted more than i could give
tht wing starts flap apping
wind is thriving in between those feathers
moisture and the smell of freedom
long term vision
that lil mouse
was eaten so long ago
