to where you thought you were leaving behind

sometimes
after 12 years of no booze
i think seriously about getting drunk

but where i am
the bartender knows me from 25 years ago
if i saunter in there to get some 'shots' i will get stink - both as a bad example and a good example-
for a long time= 25 years- much i can do zero about
but one thing is for sure
i dont drink
one guy on a plane said 'can i buy you a drink'
i said' oh no i sleep with strangers, dance on tables, no telling what i would do' he said
'can i buy you some raisns?'
i said 'yeah' he was timing his drinks- he wanted to know if he could have another-
