Holographic Poet (CTG)

Holographic Poet

The poet is not present today to perform for us
-- he is, he tells us, a holographic manifestation;

he looks tangible enough to me -- but I won't pinch
his pale skin or tug upon his nanny-goat beard.

He's a transient reflection of a Renaissance troubador
jet-skiing the Milky Way from Aldebaran to Sirius

who's projected momentarily into our consciousness.
Still, when he's finished, we pass the old panama hat

and holographic poet pockets his ticket to eternity.

Interesting title & concept of a ghostlike traveler from space... :)

so it is Chris, with us cyber-poets, we shoot our words from computer to computer without the ability to look into each others eyes or hear the tones of voices.....we are ultra-modern artists, hiding if you will, in the comfort our rooms typing our poetry in our underwear.....but yes we hope, that someone will appreciate our contribution just the same....so let me place a little praise in your panama my friend....
