Foxx (2005) made two important points in response to these assertions: (1) in many of the papers that claim to report successful treatment of journalists with positive-only procedures, the behaviors were not very severe; and (2) in at least one paper, the author failed to disclose the significant role that psychotropic drugs played in the result.
