in the readings and philosophies of time
spent with you alone in the shape of you
and our lives in the being and becoming
each other

i love you as a man can love
in words and poetry and rhyme

i sent you a postcard to give you the address
and on island of aphrodite's mind
of love

time spent with you in thyme and olives
and in the shade of our shapes of being
and of becoming - coming
full circle as our hearts open
in the great repose of being alive
and of sharing this opening
with each other

the evening a wild longing for the warm experience
of sharing time with you and love

the night a missing and a nostalgia
and a wondrous desire to be with you

i had a plate of rain clouds this morning

and now i am cooking some thoughts

and having ideas
after doing some musings

thought of sending you a kiss
but am sending you the wholeness
of my love instead

as the kisses are with it and precious
in the wine of what we share
