Nobody reads my poems
'cept google
and the crazy lady on the bus.
and nobody answers my prayers
neither google
nor the crazy lady
i suppose it's 'cause
my prayers ain't poetic
'nuff, tho they was deep,
or my poems ain't prayerful 'nuff
as the hill was steep
but the words was fluff,
and anyways i forgit
why just why
all this stuff
was s'posed to matter. so
just bluff.

I don't read much of anything
any more
cept for prayers and poetry
I likes the sound they make
it gives me momentary relief
from theses days of static
and midnight moans
