( this is written for a member of longstanding here at Studio 8, judih. You are all aware she writes short poems and haiku-ku's that I have enjoyed reading as much as i have enjoyed her presence here on this planet over the years.

i got a boorish lance
away with cynical epistles
what a heresy! - being obscure
without respite
but i'm non-resplendent lacking acrophobias
& I don't mind being languid in the mud
there is no secret but acuity that's therapeutic
bourbon please and smiles all around
a restorative thwart is what we need
against the hidebound debunking & their braggart epitomies
adamant & brawny
o would that we could always expose
all larcenous obsessions
& all equivocations dressed in hieroglyphics
eliminating the ponderous
retaining only seed
adroit farmers without decoy
& our only decorum
one of brevity

Hell Yeah Mongolia
Hell Yeah Israel
Hell Yeah brevity
Her beauty cut's like a knife
and I would ride through hell on Sunday
just to see her another day in paradise.
