spontaneous evolution, or of that mind,
itself, (without definition)... is designed,
all its worldly worth left far, far behind,
revolution long lost, its repute resigned~
all eyes on its illusion, causes it to fade,
to that condition, commonly portrayed,
out of that faith, plays into the charade,
passes the confusion, aptly displayed~
innocent to the state... or so it may seem,
day by day duty calls, to oil the machine,
cast in its own image, seeming a dream,
can't wrestle the self, or give up routine~
heavy hearted, the weight of that chain,
hopeless memories, just can't explain,
their assertations... systematically slain,
a paid invitation, to the same campaign~

excellent poem thank you
CAUGHT in the whirlwind of these war times, . . .Illusions commend themselves to us because they save us pain and allow us to enjoy pleasure instead.

thanks you two... very many
as much as war resembles the theme,
it is more of the wars that fatigue the mind~

perhaps our dreams are not illusions after all- and the life we embrace is what determined what is true and real- the best deal in town is = thriving inside as a chance to love in a new way- wild horses couldnt drag me away-

What ever they are; illusions come easy to me.
poor old Freud
he was the archaeologist of my soul for so many years
it is more of the wars that fatigue the mind~
Yes I wish I had left off the bit about the war. state sponsored despair.
what would I do with out the mystery of poetry and its deep insight
thank you for the poem.

I agree to all...
quantum reality... supports more than the eye will ever see,
more than words can say, or that our thoughts can convey,
there are answers found... without a question being asked,
dreams, love, free will, and the like, are mere descriptions of
the process... life... the deduction of which, unreliable, in that
existence itself, can barely be proven... mathematically.
illusion, and reality... is in the mind of the beholder
