each breathe shows me
that healing is like the smallest particle
love embedded inside
what was once someone in shadow
comes to life
with spark and flame
the ashes of purified timeless lava
rolling thru the places
it could not go before=tearing it up
bringing new life
to the places unseen
these days the sea swallows whole
what lay dormant
under the sand
touching the past
kissing the future
with dreams and creative flow
these mists cleverly disguise
the present with a mystery
the flesh hugs the body
the spirit lessens its hold
freedom is not to be sold
for gold- for time is never old
many stories still untold

in a million years or so, (though I don't believe in time),
this'll still be a beautiful planet.
maybe it's just me, but I don't believe in breath much either.
nice pictures come to mind with this poem, thankx

maybe it's just me, but I don't believe in breath much either.
maybe, I see it more as a connection, between a human and the rest of
the natural universe... (not that there has ever been a separation), but kinda... you are what you breathe... what you eat, and drink.
and your poem makes me recall mother earth, with her recycling, renewing
expressions, in terms of millions of years... with or without "people".

dormant under the sea= represents to me- that which is hidden spiritually- emotionally-the planet is us- our heartbeat- peaceful creation and the ooze of lava--- unstoppable- with us we evolve= or not--- lol

autistic people sometimes get caught up in subjective time
I don't know why I think of time as a duality
who has time enough for objective time
I am so busy trying to count the time
I get lost in far time
my first memory must be of the sea
that dark sea inside my mother's womb
I can hear it in your poem
maybe unrelated but I like this little bit from James Joyce too

with us we evolve= or not--- lol
(with us), creates the thought of a separateness, one that I
cannot see. evolution happens everywhere at the same moment,
forever... into whatever there is now, or shall be. the oneness has
never altered, and out of (it), comes my spirituality, as a part of this
expression, (the human being phase) of evolution.
and evolution is quite creative...
spirituality evolves, itself, to infinite levels of belief...
all of them are truth. it is that it is, (or like the bible),
"I am I am"
still love the words, and thoughts that
it evolves

On a second more deeper reading, I found this poem to have qualities I missed on the first reading. Enjoyed once again.
bringing new life
to the places unseen
these days the sea swallows whole
what lay dormant
under the sand
touching the past
kissing the future
with dreams and creative flow...
