Gaza

Gaza, that stain on my coffee table
what do I know of your bleeding children,
my fries too cold coffee not hot enough response-
mixing, churning in cauldrons of east west pigment.
Differences that hand me a better blindness of
cruise missile, tomahawk, drone words dying into
a tumbler yesterday internet image of less real, less myself,
we holding these truths to be self evident that-
your face- that face- any face I can not touch,
or hold, or bandage, this feeling, this Americanized banality
of Styrofoam love at the rockets red glare- the truth.
I am the macdonalds clown smiling, with one billion two billion three billion
sold today-tomorrow that amputated hand will not count
at all

It's a slow death... 1.9 million war dead, since 1936... and still counting.

sharp, pathetic inadecuacy in front of the other´s suffering ... and the poem bring humanity even to Mc Donald´s clown ... good job!
