Unattend!

On nights
of the full moon,
pull out
all your stops.

Drop shoulders.
Unattend!

Step in
to the white light,
of her majesty's
night light.

Ghost test
yourself.
Helter skeleton.

Spin
secret twirls,
in your
sore-toed
waltz.

Oh Hes, this is terriffic.

Loved your "sore-toed waltz" a little smack of reality in your fantasytastic moonlight sonata.

Full moon for the last two nights and I was out there howling and moaning, quietly inside of course, neighbours and all, don't want to appear unseemly or unseamed.

I need to live out in the woods with not a person for miles so I can dance naked in the moonlight, preferably with that man of mine who is not mine.

Bring on the fantasy.....reality bites chunks!!!!!!! :)

Thank you mousey....I appreciate your response very much...and holy moly! What a moon it was last night! It looked like a big orange bubble here, over the river. Everytime I saw it out the window it stopped me in my tracks, it was so beautiful. I made moonwater too, which i'm drinking right now....
I love it's pale white light.....
A howly holy night....
a little less sore-toed waltzing today for sure....
:)

What's moonwater?

I must try this delicious sounding elixir.

Give over, how do you make it? Or is that just your funny way of saying you peed outdoors? If that's the case ew! And hold the recipe.

The moon always stops me in my tracks. I could gaze at it for hours and just dream away......sigh....

how to make moonwater:

you take the most sacred cup in your house, wash it, fill it with clean water and good will, and place it on your windowsill, where it will soak up moonbeams in the night. drop a crystal into the cup, to add colours and flavours.

waxing moon will fill it with the power to provide all that is necessary, all that is nourishing and generous.

waning moon will fill it with the power to prune, banish nightmares, weeds and moles, and fear and doubt.

1 - 3 nights of the moon your water can be left charging, but don't let the sun gobble up all that the moon has implanted. when the timer goes off, set your place, say a grace, and bottums up!

Thank-you Glori.

I'll try it. I need sumthin'.

What about if I plop a crystal into a garden puddle and take a hit from that, would save washing up a cup.

I thought it was a liquor drink....good ol' H2O is so much better for me, I can't seem to develop a taste for it tho.

Thanks again Glorious one....one cupa moonwater coming up.

Hest, I liked this poem. It was very musical.

I liked the first verse. The line breaks are perfect. I'd have made that a wee poem all of its own:
On nights
of the full moon,
pull out
all your stops.
Sore toed waltz is a nice line too.

And Glorious Amok:
how to make moonwater:

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I LOVE your writing. You write anything and I love it. If you were a colour you'd be purple and if you were a material you'd be velvet with satin pretensions.

Do you have a sister
