Gaining the Channel

Wait! I'm not ready!
should I be calm?
peaceful?
or should I just burst into flames
torch the dark
and never understand the bigotry
of self respect?
should I understand that Christopher Columbus
& Brainy Smurf are brothers petitioning for
renown as they enter the labyrinth with a
credible blasphemy on their lips - the utterance of which
is a reverse proof ?
Naw - I think I will think
only of women -
women replete
replete and tangible
in this way I will forge eggs in the wilderness
and nest them to nurture in their blood-rich beds
to wait for the sperm
whipping their tails east, west, north & south
and gaining the channel
