the thunder beings

Post by saw » February 20th, 2013, 6:22 pm

the thunder beings visited my room again
muscular notions collided
in that ransacked laboratory between my ears
scenarios ricocheted off inflamed cellular walls,

so I peeled off another layer of scratched-plastic-stubbornness
like a jockey's disposable mud splattered mask
tossed it over my black and blue silk shoulder
where it got trampled by the hoofs of light

pounded clarity came compressed in hot orbs,
newly formed carbon nuggets took shape beneath
the pounding stallion, flipping up out of the rare earth
as hardened thought bubbles each with a message

just for me, and I could see for miles, I could see the breath
of metamorphosis doesn't always warm your lips
sometimes she's just there to hold open the door for you,
so I step through tonight, my tank of imagination filled....

my lungs forced to expel the past
vesuvius-like

an ancient bison walked slowly in front of my chair
turning his head towards me as he passed
his wry smile lingered ala cheshire redux,
hovering in the aroused air
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

oh baby oh baby oh baby- this is so great- what an incredible write- thank you- what an eloquent vocabulary- WOW
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
