when i was you
you were me
we
touched each others souls
long enough to become
something else more fluid
less contained within
us at the seams
busting loose water flooded our streets
swimming to higher ground
leaving each other
to drown
that last look of 'evey man for himself'
love trembling lips

There is a very good progression in this poem reaching the unforseen end.
