it was a particularly sunny day for a saturday
which is today if you hadn't noticed
time has little meaning for me

it seems more of a construct
not unlike people who invade people's privacy
for the sake of invading people's privacy

i asked if the camera in the taxi actually worked
and how he could verify it

that seemed impressed with the trivial world
though he admitted he loved going to the airport
to enjoy the absence of traffic lights
and the noise

of streetcars and crowds who dream
of a life hereafter in the musings
