shadows in the sun

we think we are alone in a subjectivity and relativity
of our aloneness
we think our thoughts are unique in the blending
of experience and education

our aloneness itself is a paranoia and isolation
in the cloistered afternoon
and when we awake to the living scent and wonder

of a forest sometimes we realize
we are not relative to our sight
the things we see and witness
nor the
sound of where we are

we are a part of it

waking into the realization
there is no subjectivity

or the question - is it subjective

as if to say

if the subjectivity in itself is subjective
then the forest is an invention or fabrication
or the sea is an illusion
