death appears alone in the glow of a street lamp
he carries bags in either hand
he wears a world war two german army helmet
& a Hawaiian print shirt
his face belongs to a crow
the windows in the building behind him
are round, crossed with bars,
and totally dark
it could be a church
there is no other traffic

I like this. Interesting images and the tone/feel/approach (can't think of the right word) is a little detached and fits perfectly. It has a DeChiro (sp?----Italian Surrealist painter) feel to it.
