the days after electricity

Post by the mingo » July 6th, 2013, 6:51 pm

In the days after electricity
in the dreams of those days
Radio was born
one midsummer afternoon Radio was receiving
oral sex from a comely negress
as the orgasmic spasms began to take hold Radio's eyes closed
& Radio became visionary seeing into history
he saw into Europe when the glaciers roamed
and far along into wide open Asia
he saw all the way back down the trail to Africa
to the very beginning where a white man sat at a piano
a white man with shaken nerves & a rattled brain
a white man whose sanity
was the hapless victim
of too much love.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
