the morning to afternoon highway to meadow‏

the drive along
the highway going west
from the city
in the light midday
afternoon traffic

the lakeview
and reflection
of the sun's fractalizing
movement of the wind

not that it was
the open road
just the movement
along cars that pass by

as if going
someplace had meaning
in the journey
