yes, no, maybe

if she had been fine art
draped on the walls of a gallery
I surely would have marched right on up
confidently avowed to the wall

"I want that !
I don't care how much it costs !"
but she was much more
than the mastery of oily paint

she had flesh
and presumably, bones
and green eyes that did a whole lot more
that merely stand still

and I began to have second thoughts
reckoned
that either way,
this was unaffordable

Liked your poem a lot, it left me with a sweet, heart-achy, kind of feeling. Thanks for the memories. I wonder if I could afford another broken heart? I think geezers thrive on them. 8)

ranting and raving from here on down>>>>>
I been thinking lately that for the demigogues in Washington dc it will always be Germany in the nineteen thirties. Good people got to hold the line against the Nazi Niggers in the white house. :x
Eight years of debt and unfunded wars and tax cuts for the top one percent of the one percenters, no body in the republicdam party had a problem with debt. Gimme a break, gimme a memory for christz sake.

Ah shit, sorry, I lost the feeling of your poem just thinking about
sorry sorry sorry

thanx truck, glad you got something good from the poem....

this other thing going on now with our government is shameful...30 or so tea party whores that aren't even good actors push the agenda of their billionaire pimps.....they were reportedly giddy, drunk like teenage boys, that they could wield this power over the Dems...forget about any concern for hurting citizens, it never crosses their minds....it's not what they are handsomely compensated to do....they are soulless shills for folks like the Koch Bros....and their well funded dummy organizations like the American Legislative Exchange Council that writes legislation and hands it over to their puppets to push through the House....honestly until citizens take to the streets, these drunken frat boys will continue to party at our expense
