Evening

the river flummoxes
the moon tears out its heart
bleeds reflected light
the dangles of dreams sparkle
in Guinevere's hair
so red that blood must hide blue
oh how it is the sweet clanging
of shadow
and the river seeping fingers
into the land of winds
