Not a Poem in the House

Post by theirishsea » December 19th, 2013, 3:58 pm

Not a poem in the house
Nothing to wow
An academic or boudoir reader
Biting into the skins of grapes
That Leak the juice
That weans the purple evening
of intellectual fare
That Jack built
with ribald ellipses
Eclipsing the occasional
lapse of good taste
Ah, exotic Mediterranean erotic
Oh, the square of chocolate,
and miniature melon of grape
Please Cleopatricize
And toast the dirigible
So puffed with airy stimulation
Elating the figure you lounge
in the chaise
To a sigh of poetry
Well-accomplished
Unblemished by a critical
Confrontational prick
Unless stimulating and benign
The Irish Sea Is Always In Turmoil, Even When Calm.

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

it replaces the regular sprocket-and-chain setup, Dino, does away with that whole mess in favor of shaft drive - some smooth riding i hear - wanna try it myself - plus they always use the term "low maintenance" in connection with shaft drive - these days the phrase "low maintenance" attracts me quicker than a woman with a smile - won't find me standing around with my finger up my nose if there's a ribald ellipse equipped with shaft drive to hand no sir - i'm a gone dog on that thing forevermore - plus it's greek for a whole lotta fun 8)
