I once saw an orangutan
playing left-handed guitar like Jimi Hendrix
with his teeth, behind his back
while Mother Teresa beat a conga drum
to smithereens
her hair was on fire
and she was floating in mid-air
a young Sally Field doppelganger,
this happened immediately after my first sip.....
and from that night forward to this very day
I always avoid the punch bowl
