I stumble through dreamy halls,
the building of life is teeming with them

a foggy maze of near misses
intermittently connecting with rooms of joy

always sparsely furnished,
no matter, I march along a forgotten soldier

left behind, missing in action in the jungle of love
I try to keep track of the sun

keep a stiff upper lip
keep a stiff drink nearby for medicinal purposes

hell,I embrace all the cliches
for they unlike me have mastered the test of time

rome wasn't built in day they remind me
as they toss the threadbare cloak on my shoulders

like it might keep me warm, ha ha
keep the faith baby !

well you see... I'd prefer you spare me all this good advice
and simply demonstrate the concern you contend....
