that energy just comes and goes
makes my teeth rattle in my mouth
the trees glisten with a yellow golden light
new leaves sprang out of withered branches

getting tangled up in my hair
little leaves bits of stick
all welcome me
in the thick

waiting for them to determine my fate
what trust you got to have
that this is not the time
to end up dead
and more later
the gift keeps on giving
