it's earth, little man, said I...

(of two opposing... current events)

monday's morning sun... was almost trying to appear shy,
with that sizzling, silvery disc... all but obscured, while I...
was contemplating castles... in the clouds, passing by,

oh, enduring one... so reassuring, for such a raging, fiery ball,
your warming breath of life... gives us, a momentary high...
but as I... rise to your occasion... I still will occasionally fall,

I see things in many ways... just not the way, I want it to be,
but within this whole range of... constant change, I believe...
if I... do see it differently... it's just the way, I needed to see~

I saw a newborn son, today... saw the future in his eyes,
I held the tiny being high... to have a look at his new world...
it's earth, little man, said I... and you are in for a big surprise,

and then we all laughed out loud, but I... silently cried, inside,
a single rule applies to this... adventure, of a single life-time...
from that very moment it begins... its ending, is well implied,

yet I... tossed it all into the wind... being mindful of the quest,
a toast, to the young daniel... may you always follow the heart...
may your dreams be realized... and let those lions, be at rest~

it's in these moments, that I... see life's beginning, is by giving,
a gift, from across the universe... our very own, taste of time...
but isn't it a sign, pointing our way... to the true nature of living,

show me gods, your belief, or a dance... any label you choose,
it is always going to be... so much more than that... and then...
more again, and again, and that my friend... is the good news,

now step inside this old cave, of mind... my crumbled abode,
do excuse my finger-painted memories... falling from the walls...
but I... will make a few new ones... since the old ones all erode~

I will treasure each moment... somehow, even those of my dying,
and in the doing, I try... not to measure life as day against day...
but to share it fairly, in-between... the happiness, and the crying,

sometimes I just sit very still... and let the imagination run astray,
at other times, I'll join in the game... and play the role, called me...
but it's curtains... for that reality, if I... were to take the mask away,

that's when I... will let my feelings go off exploring, unrestrained,
and in the depths of emotion... there is one heart beating, for all...
everyone carries inside, their part... until the time, it is reclaimed~

feeling our interconnectedness is crucial to both contentment and the future of humanity...

" sometimes I sit very still...and let the imagination run astray ".... .YES

it surely without any doubt takes a village, but some may never notice unable to sit long enough to breathe deeply, and allow their minds to explore..... and be alone comfortably with themselves

I see way too many people making love to their smartphones ...and it worries me
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

yeah, I can't wait for the online failure.... then half the population will... drop dead.

thanks saw, I see that things will have to come round in a full circle.... humanity, that is...
no society lasts forever anyway, and well, it is what it is...
