i suddenly found myself
enlightened for three
minutes while standing
in line at Office Max
buying notebooks.

i paid for the notebooks
and was back to my
stubbornsulkswaying ways.

man laugh at bird brain, say

aint no ladder high enuff
we cough and go about our bizzzzzzznessss
joni singing "laffin it all the way......"

many humans have become detached from the majesty of the cloud and bird, something so essential to our ancestors...to watch the birds, study the sky...the symbiosis was essential , revered.......lets hope we can all tap into more than 3 minutes of enlightenment in our lives...
