The self in the seeming change

Post by sweetwater » September 5th, 2014, 10:01 am

for the actor
Changing roles in the surreal
Sunset and space
We share in the moment
Poets as pre-Madonna's
Beatnik rhythms pulsating
like the Kerouac drum
Indigenous rhyming in the ruins
Of historical precedent
And the rationalizations
as to why
We become more
like ourselves

well done...much to ponder
that's why we write, we try to connect the dots
and if we are lucky, a picture emerges
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

And the rationalizations
