Thoughts of October

The moon lights my morning;
There's no sign of the sun;
I can hear the Ravens song;
Chills run up my spine.
Pain in my ankle is singing;
Oh how I wish this day was done;
Please lord don't let it last to long;
For I fear I might loose my mind.
Halloween crosses thoughts;
Now my sweet tooth kicks in;
Carmeled apples and candy corn;
Oh how I have the craving.
Remembering what I've been taught;
To avoid the nagging from within;
It's so hard to fight when I am torn;
Maybe my hearts not worth saving.
I can see the masks of all;
Trick or treaters all around;
My mind dances with emotion;
And slowly the stress begins to quake.
Soon now my thirty fourth year shall call;
And my soul shall be bound;
Leaving too much of the commotion
And the hope that I may never break.
There's no sign of the sun;
I can hear the Ravens song;
Chills run up my spine.
Pain in my ankle is singing;
Oh how I wish this day was done;
Please lord don't let it last to long;
For I fear I might loose my mind.
Halloween crosses thoughts;
Now my sweet tooth kicks in;
Carmeled apples and candy corn;
Oh how I have the craving.
Remembering what I've been taught;
To avoid the nagging from within;
It's so hard to fight when I am torn;
Maybe my hearts not worth saving.
