there are lots of folks ready to follow something different from the same old, same old...even willing at times to have a little Kool Aid....dig it

never was much of a follower...got kicked out of a movie theater
at 12 for not saying the pledge. Prolly around the time I lost
interest in religion, if I ever really had any interest in it.I don't
mean studying religions, I mean being a Catholic. I read some
science fiction at 12 and decided there was something I wasn't
being told. I guess this all went along with deciding I was a beatnik.
When I was about 21 or so I went through a kind of psychic shift
I was hanging out on the street with crazy people, poets, drug
users, weirdos, people who pretended to be enlightened, ect.
for one day a became a Jesus freak, just to see how that felt.
I really got into the roll, and I even had that gleam in my eyes.
Boy was I glad to shit can my Jebus person persona. I did not like
looking at other people with all that self-rightousness. I ended up
spending a year in a meditation community, when I was 24 about.
That is a whole other story , speaking of holy-then-thou.

I'm tired and would love to follow someone, let someone else carry the load for awhile. I'd even pay them 10% (which seems to be the going rate). Problem is all I've run into is a bunch of schmucks who don't know inspiration from constipation.
