Blank wall.

Post by Doreen Peri » January 3rd, 2015, 7:41 pm

I missed my phone call.
My letter hasn't arrived.
I'm staring at a blank wall.
Wondering why I'm alive.
I have no purpose.
I've lost a lot of drive.
I missed my phone call.
My letter hasn't arrived.

I'm ok. I just missed my phone call and my letter hasn't arrived. Some days staring at a blank wall is necessary to make sense of it all. I have a purpose, unlike I stated in the poem. My purpose is to stare at a blank wall until I reach enlightenment and to make sure I don't miss the next phone call. There's nothing I can do about slow mail delivery. hah! ;)
